Carole A Young

Carole A Young, 81, of Columbus, passed away on Wednesday April 14, 2021 at her home following an extended illness. She was born September 19, 1939 in Washington D.C., and had retired after a career as a truck driver with Roadway Motor Freight systems.

Carol was well known for her beautiful Siamese Cats. Her Charjanie cattery produced many CFA and TICA grand champions.  She was active in exhibiting her cats in both The Cat Fanciers Association and The International Cat Association. She was an active member for many years in the Ohio State Persian Club (CFA) and SHOWCATS:Columbus (TICA). Carole was most proud of her service as president of Kittyhawk Feline Fanciers a CFA club in the great lakes region.

Carole is survived by her daughters Charlene and Janie and several granddaughters.

Honoring Carole’s wishes she will be cremated and no services will be held.
