Caroline Foltz

Caroline (Piccirilli) Foltz, 92, was born December 10, 1928 to Antonio and Dorinda Piccirilli in Newark, OH. Following the passing of her mother, Caroline was raised by sisters Ruth and Myrtle Hitchcock. She married Everett Foltz, her husband of 63 years, in 1950. The couple settled in Pataskala and raised four children. The family later relocated to Millersport where Caroline became an active member of the community. She worked for Walnut Township Schools as an elementary secretary and was a longtime member of Millersport United Methodist Church. Many will remember her love of theater as a participant in several Millersport Community Theater productions and through her 35 years of Halloween skits. She also volunteered with TWIG 13. Caroline passed peacefully on June 3, 2021 surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, her aunts, her husband, Everett, her sister, Mary, her infant brother, Charles, and son-in-law Ronald Jackson. She is survived by her children, Linda Jackson of Baltimore; Gregory (Rebecca) Foltz of Baltimore; Robert Foltz (Wendy Barlow) of Lancaster; Thomas (Jennifer) Foltz of Millersport; grandchildren, Brian (Cristi)  Jackson of Somerset, Courtney (Daniel) Taubken of Gainesville, VA, Andrew Foltz of Millersport, Rachel (Timothy) Nash of Pickerington, and Aimee and Allison Foltz of Millersport; great-grandchildren, Lucus and Makenzi Jackson of Somerset, Elizabeth, Gabriella, and Charlotte Taubken of Gainesville, VA, Adaline Nash of Pickerington, and numerous nieces and nephews, including Dorinda Miller and Barb Nagle.  Before her passing, Caroline wished to express her immense gratitude for the support of family and friends over the recent months as well as for the wonderful care she received from many nurses and aides, especially at the Pickering House of Fairhope Hospice. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 12, 2021 with a funeral service to follow, at the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service at 285 E. Main St., with Pastor Steve Bush officiating. Caroline will be laid to her final rest at Millersport Cemetery.
