Carolyn Sue Buffington

Carolyn Sue Buffington, age 69, of Warsaw, passed away on April 20, 2022 at her home. She was born January 6, 1953 in Newark, Ohio to the late Richard Lee “Pete” Watson and the late Juanita Anne (Watkins) Watson.

Carolyn was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, her pets, gardening and was a huge Elvis fan. She collected many things including gnomes. She was an excellent cook and also decorated many cakes for family and friends.

She is survived by four children, Elizabeth Buffington, Richard Buffington, James Buffington, and Robert (Jennifer) Sherwood; grandchildren, Johnathan Babcock, Savannah Buffington, Chance Buffington, Christine Sherwood, Rebecca Sherwood, Rachelle Sherwood, Jamie Sherwood, Jared McCleary and Jayden Buffington; a great-grandchild on the way; nephew, Anthony (Chelsea) Watson; and many other nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Garnet Boyer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 21 years, Harry Leonard Buffington; and by siblings, Richard Lee Watson II, Judith Keller, Bill Watson, Daphne Watson, Deborah Watson, and Jonathan Watson.

The family will observe a private memorial.
