Carolyn Hope Johnson

Carolyn Hope Johnson, 75, of Buckeye Lake, died Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at Middleton of Granville. She was born August 31, 1946, in Akron, OH to the late Pete and Ethel (Lambert) Stephenson Jr. Carolyn grew up in Stinesville, IN. She worked in customer service for various companies in the central Ohio area. She also worked as a 911 dispatcher for the Fire Department in Newark and security for Owens Corning. Carolyn enjoyed reading, cooking, listening to country music, and playing Bingo, but what she loved most was spending time with her family. Her family meant everything to her and was always her priority. Carolyn will be deeply missed for her loving, giving, and compassionate traits. She is survived by her children, Frank (Marianne) Schwenning, Lisa Schwenning, Tracy (Ron) Schneider, and Kimberly (Robert) Reichner; brother, Paul Stephenson; and best friend of 47 years, Mary McGirr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Johnson; brother, Rick Stephenson; and sister, Peggy Stephenson. A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date.
