Cathryne Louise "Katie" Beiers

A funeral service celebrating the life of Cathryne Louise Katie Beiers, age 83, of Johnstown, will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, with Max Molihan officiating. Friends may call from 4:30-6:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.Katie was born September 29, 1931 in Vinton County, Ohio to the late Oles D. and Florence (Boyer) Molihan. She passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center (operated by Hospice of Central Ohio).Katie was retired from Lucent Technologies where she had been a layout operator.She is survived by two sons, David Beiers of Portland, Oregon and Clint (Dawn) Beiers of Johnstown; daughter, Karen (Rob) Ludwig of New Albany; grandchildren, Khris, Brandon, Staci and Jami; great-grandchildren, Makayla, Kalli, Landon, Carter, Keaton, Madison and Caden; brothers and sisters, Max, Jerry, Martha and Peg; many nieces and nephews; and boyfriend, John Freas.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F.
