Cecil Ed Lewis, Jr. 87, of Millersport, died Sunday February 9, 2014, following an extended illness. He was born June 22, 1926, in Bidwell, Ohio, the son of the late Cecil Edward and Mamie (Sprague) Lewis. Ed served honorably in the US Army, as a guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier in Washington, D.C. He was a retired barber.He is survived by his family: sons Edward Lewis and Dr. Steven (Melissa) Lewis of Millersport, daughters: Debra (Bob) Elflein of Baltimore, Dianne (Dr. John) Winnestaffer of Hilton Head, S.C.; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; sister Mary Kurnat.He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Thelma Lewis, and sisters Judith Conley and Delores Carter.Private Family services were held in the Millersport Cemetery.
