Chad Eric Lynd

Chad Eric Lynd, 38, of Pataskala, lost his struggle with addiction on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at his residence in Pataskala. Chad was born May 28, 1982 in Newark, the son of Lester K. and Marcia (Ridenour) Lynd. He was a graduate of Watkins Memorial H.S., class of 2000 and was active in the soccer program at Watkins.

Chad worked in various capacities over the years normally as a server and also helped at the Lynd Fruit Farm. He started working at age 14 at the Nutcracker in Pataskala. Chad loved spending time with his family, playing Frisbee golf, watching sporting events including the Ohio State Buckeyes.

He is survived by his loving family: his parents Lester and Marcia Lynd of Pataskala, his fiancée Lydia Skinner, his children Jayden, Haylie, Jaxon and Eppie; his brothers Scott and Brian (Amanda) Lynd and their children Julia, Jack and Miranda.

Memorial services celebrating his life will be held at Grace Fellowship Church, 1449 Refugee Rd. Pickerington, on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 with visitation from 6 until 7:00 p.m. and service to begin at 7:00 p.m. Private Family inurnment will follow in the Kirkersville Cemetery, where Chad will be laid to rest with his family.
