Charlene Nora Siegle

A graveside service celebrating the life of Charlene Nora Siegle, age 64, of Newark, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Newark Memorial Gardens with Pastor Tim Sowards officiating.Charlene was born October 4, 1951 in Newark, Ohio to the late Edward Clyde and Myrtle (Ridenour) Marmie. She passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.Charlene was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She was an avid fan of the OSU Buckeyes and enjoyed reading and keeping up with her favorite TV shows. She also enjoyed cooking and was known for her delicious noodles.She is survived by four children, Kimberly S. Siegle, Brian K. Siegle, Brandy (Todd) Ware and Jodi R. Siegle, all of Newark; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Clyde Marmie of Newark; and nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Donald Eugene Siegle, whom she married March 30, 1975 and who passed away on November 8, 2013; and by a brother, Terry Marmie.At her request, no visitation will be observed.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for Charlene and her family.
