Charles A "Butch" Haegele

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Charles A. Butch Haegele, 67, of Pataskala, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 2, 2014 in the chapel of The Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation Service. Burial with full military honors will follow at Jersey Cemetery.Butch died late Saturday evening, September 27, 2014 in Columbus, following a brief illness. He was born in Columbus on April 5, 1947, the son of the late Carl and DaisyBelle (Krumm) Haegele.He was retired from the Ohio State University. He enjoyed gardening, and antique John Deere and Oliver Tractors. He served honorably in the US Marine Corps during the Vietman era.He is survived by his loving family: son, Chuck Haegele of Athens, sisters Dorothy Weller, Carla Watson and Helen Brown, along with his girlfriend, Carol Pendexter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Deborah in 2006, and his brother Ralph.Friends may call on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the HOSKINSON Funeral Home in Kirkersville, 285 E.
