Charles A. “Buck” Spangler, 85, of Heath, passed away on August 16, 2023 at his residence, while surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Kenova, WV on September 24, 1937 to the late Charles O. and Lena Mae (Riddle) Spangler and was raised by his grandmother, Clara Spangler.

This was Buck’s favorite saying:

“When I’m dead and in my grave, no more beers shall I crave.  On my tombstone shall be wrote, many beers went down Big Daddy’s throat!”
