Charles C. "Chuck" Moore

Charles C. Chuck Moore, 85, of Newark, passed away at Licking Memorial Hospital on March 27, 2018. He was born in Johnstown, Ohio on November 12, 1932 to the late Herman C. and Helen (McDaniel) Moore. Chuck proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Prior to retirement, he worked for Columbia Gas for over 30 years. Chuck enjoyed playing euchre at the Licking County Aging Program, fishing, traveling to Amish country, coaching North Newark Little League and especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his children, Rory Jeff (Rhonda) Moore, Kimberly Moore and Aaron Tod (Leslie) Moore; grandchildren, Marquita, Cassandra, David, Tristin, Tanner and J.T.; great grandchildren, Jevon and Hakeem; and many other members of the Brush, Lauterbach, Moore and McDaniel families. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou (Brush) Moore; and a sister, Bess Ross.
