Charles David Carter

Charles David Carter, age 64, formerly of Newark, passed away on July 21, 2020 in Nevada. He was born January 14, 1956 to the late Robert L. and Ida P. (Sheats) Carter. Charles was a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by a son, Chad D. Carter of Heath; daughter, Christina Carter of California; brothers, Michael Nixon, Robert (Joyce) Carter, Jasper Carter, Phillip (Susan) Carter and Patrick Carter; sisters, Gwendolyn Iheme and Phyllis Carter; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Malory, Larry and John Nixon, Steven Carter, Elaine Manning and Ruby Carter.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, September 4, at Cedar Hill Cemetery where military honors will be observed by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.
