A motorcycle enthusiast, he enjoyed taking trips out West. Garfield was a life member of the Druids, Heath Eagles, Amvets and the VFW. He was a great family man with a kind and generous heart.

(Christie) Chrisman, Tracy (Elash) McVey, Jon (Teresa) Elash and Gina Woodyard; grandchildren, Ryan Elash, Morgan Elash, Jeremy Woodyard, Justin (Valerie) Woodyard, Heather (Justin) Glaser; numerous great-grandchildren; sister-in-law and caregiver, Sandra Ross; one niece and several nephews; and his loving dog, Corkie.
