Charles Donald Kane

Memorial Services, celebrating the life of Charles D. “Chuck” Kane, 53, of Johnstown, will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Buckeye Lake; with Rev. Fr. William Hritsko as celebrant. Inurnment will follow in the Union Cemetery, Columbus at a later date.

Charles died December 14, 2021 in Columbus following an extended illness. He was born in Columbus on November 1, 1968, the son of Roger Kane and Donna Lee.

A self-described Jack-of-all-trades, he worked in various jobs and professions all over the United States over his lifetime. His true passion was fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his wife Amy (Lieb) whom he married on October 11, 2018. His brother Jon (Cynthia) Kane, his daughter Samantha Henderson and his step-daughter Samantha Lieb, his three grandchildren, nieces and nephews Alexis, Thomas, Madison, Orion, Travis and Trevor, his in-laws Bill and Sharon Lieb and his brother-in-law Aaron (Emily) Lieb.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Donald Sylvester Lee, who was like a father to him.

The family prefers that memorial contributions be directed to the funeral home to help defray his final expenses. On line giving is available at www.hoskinsonfuneral.com . Envelopes will be available at the memorial service.
MASKS will be required at the memorial services.
