A funeral service celebrating the life of Charles M. Sonny Donahue, 59, of Warsaw, will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service with Pastor Sonny Easterday officiating. Burial will follow at Rocky Fork Cemetery. Sonny was born in Newark, Ohio on April 2, 1959 to the late Charles S. Donahue and Bonnie Jean (Ridenour) Dyar. He passed away unexpectedly on May 20, 2018 at Coshocton Medical Center. Sonny worked for Layton Excavating, Inc. for over 18 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his mother and step father, Bonnie and Patrick Dyar; significant other, Nancy Brown; children, Kristy (Daniel) Wilson, Charles Marvin Donahue, Jr., Hayli Brown and Rachel (Eddie) Geary; siblings, Kelvin Boyer, Walter Oak (Penny) Balo and Connie Balo McDaniel; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; his loving dog, J; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his father.
