Charles Phillips

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Charles Edward Phillips, 83, formerly of Millersport, will be held on Wednesday Nov 14, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at the Kirkersville home of the HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation service. Burial will follow at Windfall Cemetery near Cardington, Ohio.Charles died November 8, 2012, following an extended illness. He was born in Marion County, the son of the late Ora and Lydia (Cartt) Phillips. He worked for Owens Corning Fiberglas in Newark for over 30 years. After retiring from Owens, he worked for the Kroger Company.He is survived by his children: Regina (David) Gladden of Millersport, Gary (Cheryl) Phillips of Kirkersville, Don (Mary) Phillips of Naples, Florida, Mark (Billie Wince) Phillips and Scott (Amber) Phillips both of Pataskala, along with his 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis and his grandson Zach.Friends may call on Tuesday evening , November 13, 2012, from 4-6 P.M. at the funeral home, 285 East Main St. in Kirkersville, where an on-line video tribute and guest register is available at www.hoskinsonfuneral.com.Memorial contributions may be made to Foundation forHospice of Central Ohio,PO Box 430,Newark, OH 43058.HOSKINSON Funeral & Cremation Service, is honored to care for the Phillips family.
