Charles R. "Charlie" Moore

Charles R. Charlie Moore, 75, of Heath, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2014 at Kindred Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Newark. He was born on January 20, 1939 in Fultonham, Ohio son of the late Forrest and Lucy (Clayton) Moore. Charlie was a member of the Crossroads Baptist Church in Newark, Ohio. He was employed with Englefield Oil and managed the Buckeye Lake Truck Stop for a number of years. Charlie enjoyed football, flowers, fishing, travelling and taking cruises. A very generous man, he never knew an enemy. He liked feeding people, and being with family. He will be greatly missed.He is survived by his loving family: wife, Jo Ellen; son, Rob Moore (Joyce McLaughlin); daughter, Robin Moore; two grandsons, Jake and Josh Moore; great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Tom (Vickie) Dempsey; nieces, Ashleigh (Jason) Roshon and Mackinley Dempsey; great niece and nephew, Connor and Carlee Roshon; as well as his beloved dogs, Maggie and Susie.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Rocky and Rusty Moore.Afuneral service celebrating Charlies life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2014 in the chapel of the Kirkersville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 285 E. Main St., with Pastors Tim Soward and Kevin Cade officiating.Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Friday, November 14, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Saturday one hour prior to services from 10 to 11 a.m.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Charlies name may be made to: Crossroads Baptist Church, PO BOX 2065, Heath, Ohio 43056.
