Charlotte Ann Crist

Funeral services for Charlotte Ann (Bush) Crist, of Buckeye Lake, will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, February 18, 2023 in the chapel of the Thornville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 56 S Main St., Thornville. Private family interment will follow in the Zion Ridge Cemetery, Thornville. The family will receive friends on Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 12:00 Noon at the funeral home, 56 S Main Street in Thornville.

Charlotte was born July 8, 1946 in Lancaster, the daughter of the late Elmer and Ann (Roberts) Bush. She was a graduate of Fairfield Union High School, class of 1964, and had worked as a data analyst for the J.C. Penney Co., Chase Bank and A.T.& T. She passed away Friday, February 10, 2023 in Columbus, Ohio.

She loved to travel and vacation with her family. She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and attending their sporting events. She also loved to shop. She was passionate about genealogy and had found over fifty thousand members of her family tree.  She was a former member of the New Zion United Methodist Church in Baltimore, and was currently attending the Buckeye Lake Community Church.

She is survived by her loving family: Her husband Samuel W. Crist, whom she married on July 3, 1966, her son Michael A. (Elizabeth) Crist; grandchildren Michael W., Zachary, Rachel and Anna; her nieces and nephew Deborah Danielson, Jan Wells, Lisa Spohn and Steven Bush.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Elmer Jr. and John Bush.

The family prefers that memorial contributions be directed to the First Community Church in Buckeye Lake. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
