Charlotte D. Idleman

A funeral service for Charlotte D. Idleman, age 62, of Newark, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 12, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Myers officiating. Burial will take place in Wilson Cemetery.Charlotte was born March 2, 1952 in Newark, Ohio to the late Richard and Nellie (Clemens) Cooper. She passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at the home of her niece.Charlotte was a homemaker and had been employed at Abercrombie. She enjoyed Bingo, gambling, horseshoes, camping and cornhole and participated in tournaments for horseshoes and cornhole.She is survived by four children, Melissa Lisa (Glenn) Johnson, Christina Smith, Tonia (James) Shell and Richard B. Idleman, all of Newark; eleven grandchildren, Cody Johnson, Craig Stewart, Jeremy Johnson, Nellisha Morrison, Natasha Grether, Kashondra Grether, Anthony Idleman, Nathaniel Idleman, Dalton Idleman, Cameron Idleman and Danielle Yates; great-grandchildren, Aiden Stewart, Addison Johnson, Lakya Nelson and Byntlee Acheson; sisters, Nancy (Dennis) Phillips and Linda (Ron) Snyder, all of Newark; brothers, Richard Cooper, Jr. and Timothy (Annette) Cooper, all of Newark; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Brandon Morrison.Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, December 11, at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, and also from 12-1 p.m. prior to the service on Friday.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home is honored to care for the Idleman family.
