Cheryl Newton

Cheryl (Sherry) Newton was born on December 8, 1950 and died on August 31, 2022. She graduated from Utica High School in 1969, The Ohio State University (psychology) in 1974 and the Interfaith Seminary (Minister of Spiritual Counseling). She is survived by her adopted daughter, Lara Newton; siblings, Larry Newton, Elaine Newton and Gena Bradshaw. She was proceeded in death by mother and stepfather, Ruth Ann and Gene Humphrey; and sisters, Dianne Bonte and Cindi Broseus. Friends Lee Hartsfeld and Beverly Seaton have embraced her with patience, compassion and humor through extended bouts of illnesses. Cremation arrangements will be handled by Criss-Wagner-Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service. No services are scheduled to be held.
