Christine Ann Roe

April 18, 1969 — January 10, 2025

Christine Ann “Chrissy” Roe, age 55, was born April 18, 1969 in Phoenix, Arizona to the late James Robert and Shirley Ann (Click) Roe. She passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025 at Mercy Health Hospital surrounded by loving friends as she was received into the arms of Jesus.

Chrissy loved life and was ever ready for any celebration. She could light up a room with her bubbly personality. Her warm acceptance and love for others was clearly evident. Chrissy had an avid love for Ohio State, swimming, playing Uno, and the piano. Her mom loved to hear her play “Joyful Joyful We Adore Thee.”  Chrissy also loved Pepsi, pizza, popcorn, Reese’s Cups, donuts, and Dairy Queen Blizzards. She enjoyed doing puzzles, Jenga, remembering people’s birthdays, and celebrating her birthday for the entire month of April.

She had a passionate heart for JESUS, her family, and innumerable friends. Chrissy loved to travel. Her adventures spanned from Florida, Phoenix, Indiana, Texas, Columbus and beyond. Internationally, she traveled to Israel, Australia, New Zealand, and more. New Zealand was her home for 11 years while her parents emigrated there. Chrissy also served on various mission trips in the U.S.

Chrissy graduated from Northland High School in 1990. Besides various places of employment, she was an active volunteer at her church, Westerville Chamber of Commerce, for which she won awards, and Mayoral Campaigns in Terre Haute, IN with dear friends, the Wells family.

After the passing of Mumssy (her Mother) in Arizona, Chrissy returned to Ohio to her longtime friends, the Jonathan Priest family. In Ashland, Ohio she took piano lessons, played for the church, joined the YMCA to swim, and made many new friends.

She continued more education at Echoing Hills University through the inclusive education program of her residency. She spent time at Echoing Connections and Echoing Hills with loving and caring staff in Canal Fulton, Ohio.

She is survived by her brother, Glenn (Amanda) Roe of Paris, France; sister, Peggy (Torger) Erickson of Phoenix, Arizona; niece, Anna (Cameron) Moritz; nephew, Axel Erickson; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends, Cosetta and Jonathan, Jaden, and Arelia Priest.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John Rezek.
