Funeral Services, celebrating the life of Christopher Jay Ankeney, 32, formerly of Millersport, will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Thornville home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service. Chris’s family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until time of the funeral service at the funeral home, 56 South Main St. in Thornville. Chris passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at his residence in Cleveland. He was born June 8, 1989 in Westerville, the son of Theresa (Brown) and Jason K. Ankeney of Pleasantville. Chris attended Millersport schools, and had been employed in the construction industry. He enjoyed body building, mixed martial arts, but most of all spending time with his children Jackson and Arbor. In addition to his parents and children, Chris is survived by his significant other Allison Pagrabs; his siblings Tyler (Lynsay) Ankeney, and Allyson Ankeney; his grandparents Sharon and Stephen Brown and Marjorie Ankeney; the mother of his children Brittany Chenault, and many friends. The family prefers that memorial contributions in Chris’ memory be directed to the Ed Keating Center, 1980 Brookpark Rd, Cleveland, Ohio 44109. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
