Cindy Colleen Ferrell

Cindy C. Ferrell, 57, of Somerset, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 following a brief illness. Cindy was born in Lancaster on May 31, 1964, was a graduate of Sheridan H.S., class of 1982, and worked as a dental assistant for Claybrooke Dental of Gahanna.

Cindy loved spending time floating in the pool, quilting, watching Hallmark, the holidays, butterflies, dinner or drinks with friends, and all things purple; but most of all, she lived for her family and was truly a good friend. Her grandkids meant the world to her. She spoiled them in every possible way. Many memories of putt-putting, riding bikes in the ally, playing Sorry and sleepovers. She had a heart of gold, a beautiful smile, and a laugh that will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her loving family: her son J.D. (Merissa) Ferrell; her daughter Luci Ferrell; her grandchildren Gage, Maci and Jace; her brother Butch (Cheryl) Brown, her sisters Deana (Victor) Brown and Teresa McLaughlin; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Debbie Brown.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Thornville home of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, 56 South Main St in Thornville. Honoring Cindy’s wishes, she will be cremated after the services, and her remains inurned in the Somerset Cemetery.
