Cindy L. (Kirby) Dimel, 63, of Grove City, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2014 in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 16, 1950 in Columbus, daughter of James and Emma Jean (Weaver) Kirby, who survive. Cindy was a 1968 graduate of West High School. A Catholic by faith, she was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Grove City. She was also a 3rd Order Franciscan, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and daughter. She enjoyed making crafts and jewelry. Cindys family and faith were the focus of her life.In addition to her parents, Cindy is survived by her husband of 39 years, Louis Dimel; four children: Rich (Jill) Dimel, Shawn (Amanda) Dimel , Joe (Jessica) Dimel, and Kim (Curt) Eigensee; 11 grandchildren: Rachel, Louis, Leah, Noah, Lillyanna, Cynthia Jane, Logan, Joshua, Layla, Lathan, and Emma; brother, Charles (Debbie) Kirby; sister, Vonnie (Walt) Barton; several brothers and sisters-in-law; as well as many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by: in- laws, Paul and Mary (Condon) Dimel; grandparents: Charles and Arlene (Hoover) Weaver, Edward and Francis (Willis) Kirby.A funeral mass, celebrating Cindys life, will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3730 Broadway St., Grove City, 43123, with Father Dan Millisor and Msgr. Romano Ciotola concelebrating.
