Clara went home with her Lord and Savior, October 4, 2013. Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Great-Great Grandmother, wife, friend and loved one. She was born in New Lexington, Ohio and graduated from St. Aloyosius Academy. She was a helpmate to her husband William Bishop whom she married in 1940. Clara retired from Western Electric Co. She liked antiques and yard sales as a hobby.Surviving are her children: Lawrence Bishop, Marilynne (Roland) Robinson and Brenda (Danny) Phillips, grandchildren: Michele Kirk, Sonja Robinson, Michael (Deena) Robinson, Jennifer Leasure, Joey Leasure, Julie Bishop and Jeremy Bishop, great grandchildren: Jeffrey Kirk, Mariah (Tim) Kenney, Desirae Kirk, Jade Hosey, Jhiana Tingler and Delaney Corder, great-great granddaughter: Isabella Kirk.Clara is also survived by sisters: Mary Naymick and Theresa Hardy, brothers: John Brattoli, Anthony Brattoli, Eugene Brattoli and Martin Brattoli.She is predeceased by husband: William Bishop, granddaughter: Cheryl Robinson, sister: Ann Barry, brothers: Joseph, Steve and Daniel Brattoli.Hoskinson-Schoedinger Funeral & Cremation Service is handling the arrangements. Visitation will be Sunday, October 6, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Thornville home at 56 South Main Street, along with calling in the side chapel at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 5133 Walnut Road, Buckeye Lake from 7-9 pm on Monday, October 7, 2013.A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 11 a.m. with Father William Ferguson officiating. Luncheon to follow at the church.
