Memorial visitation, celebrating the life of Clay Allison Moran, Sr., 60, of Buckeye Lake, will be held on Sunday, June 24, 2018, from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of The Hebron home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, 108 North 7th Street in Hebron. Clay passed away at home on Saturday, June 16, 2018, following a brief illness. He was born in Steubenville, on July 15, 1957, the son of the late Ronald and JoAnn (Hilton) Moran. Clay was a 1975 graduate of Whitehall Yearling High School, and was disabled following a work injury in 2000. A simple man, he enjoyed spending time with his family and junking, going around looking for scrap and other items of interest. One of his favorite possessions was his old Dodge Ram Pick-up truck. He is survived by his loving family: his wife, Frances (Withers) whom he has been with since Sep. 11, 1983; his sons: Garry (Starla), Clay Jr. and Raymond Moran; his daughter Margaret; his grandsons Ryan and Cole, a granddaughter, and a brother Ronnie and his sisters Lori, Cathy and Betty. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Bobby and Tommy. The family prefers that memorials be directed to the funeral home, P.O. Box 57, Kirkersville, 43033, to assist them with final expenses. HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, Hebron, is honored to care for Clay and his family.
