Clifford Lee Moran Sr., a cherished resident of Millersport, OH, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 11th, 2025, at the age of 90. Born in Newark, OH, on March 22nd, 1934, Clifford lived a life filled with service, love, and dedication to his family and community.

Clifford proudly served his country in the Korean War, as a radar technician in the United States Navy, serving for 20 years, a career marked by his commitment and skill. After his distinguished military service, he continued his professional journey at Midland Screw Company, where he worked for 17 years.

A man of many passions, Clifford was a life member of the Millersport American Legion and a former member of the North America Fishing Club. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as playing euchre, boating, fishing, and riding his motorcycle.

Clifford was a beloved husband to Gloria Fay (Roberts) Moran, whom he married September 26, 1977; He is also survived by a son, Clifford Moran Jr.; stepsons, David Johns and Leon Johns; his brother, Jay (Ruth) Moran; grandchild, Dakota Lee Roberts; and great-grandchildren, Kenedi and Zoey. His legacy also lives on through numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, who will all miss his warm presence and enduring spirit.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Norris Clifford Moran and Mary Florence Moran; his cherished daughter, Kimberly Moran Roberts; and his sister, Marjorie Moran Jestor.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at a visitation on Tuesday, February 18th, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Services in Thornville, OH. A Celebration of Life will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home, with Celebrant Clifford Mason officiating. Burial will be held in Millersport Cemetery where military honors will be observed.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to FairHope Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Arrangements have been lovingly provided by Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service - Thornville. Clifford's life was a testament to the values of service, family, and friendship, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
