Colton Andrew Hinerman

A funeral service celebrating the life of Colton Andrew Hinerman, 29, of Newark, will be held on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, with Pastor Wes Humble officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, on Sunday, prior to the funeral service, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Colton was born on November 2, 1992 in Newark, Ohio to Kathryn M. (Hughes) Sciriha and Stuart A. Hinerman. He passed away from a seizure at his residence on January 4, 2022. Colton graduated from Licking Valley High School. He was the owner/operator of Himming Investments, LLC, where he networked, selling and buying real estate. He was passionate about dancing, moving to Los Angeles for several years to pursue his dream. He enjoyed rock climbing, watching movies, dancing, roller skating, spending time with his family and friends and was always up for any adventure. Colton was a loving, carefree, non- judgmental and free-spirited soul. Survivors include his mother, Kathryn M. Sciriha; father, Stuart (Carissa Merriam) Hinerman; siblings, Celeste Hinerman, Mercedes Evans, Connor (Taylor Passwaters) Hinerman, and Grace (Devin McConnell) Evans; niece, Kercia; paternal grandmother, MaryAnn Hughes; paternal grandfather, Andy Hinerman; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Bud Hughes; paternal grandmothers, Marilyn Hinerman and Merriann Prior; and stepfather, Frank Sciriha. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Colton to Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
