Connie Krebs

A funeral service celebrating the life of Connie Krebs, 71 of Thornville will be held on Monday, January 16, 2017 at 10:30 a.m.; at the Thornville home of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Services, located at 56 S. Main Street in Thornville. Lew Hildreth will be officiating the service with burial to follow at Lutheran Reformed Cemetery in Thornville.Connie was born to Mr.& Mrs. Roy Helser. After graduating from the Ohio State University, she taught Home Economics in the Newark City Schools for over 26 years. She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church on Linville Road. She was a 4-H advisor and participated in the Licking County Home Ec Association. She enjoyed traveling, painting, sewing, cooking family dinners and going for walks. She also loved growing tomato plants.She is preceded in death by her father.She is survived by her loving family: husband of 49 years, Weldon; daughters: Michelle Chavanne, Erin (Rusty) Davis and Jeanette (Brad) Riffle; her grandchildren: Audrey, Katelyn and Barrett; and 9 grand dogs. She is also survived by her mother Helen.Friends may call on the family on Sunday, January 15th from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at 56 S. Main St. in Thornville. And one hour prior to the Funeral service on Monday at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Fairhope Hospice at 282 Sells Rd, Lancaster, OH 43130.The Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation services of Thornville are honored to care for the Krebs family.
