Connie Louise Ours

A graveside memorial service for Connie Louise Ours, age 68, of Newark, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 22, at Union Evangelical Cemetery near Baltimore. Connie was born April 26, 1954 in Columbus, Ohio. She passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center (operated by Hospice of Central Ohio). Connie was a Registered Nurse. She enjoyed gardening, watching the birds, especially hummingbirds, and loved her dog, Popcorn. She had a sweet tooth and especially enjoyed Hostess cupcakes, licorice and Coke Zero. She is survived by three children, Chad (Taryn) Ours, Paul (Sara) Ours, and Amanda Ours (Terry Schimpf); many grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Nancy Miller; nieces and nephews; and her significant other, Mel Benton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Myer Ours, on December 1, 2020; and by three sisters.
