Connie Sue Schlosser, age 80, of Newark, passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021 at Johnstown Pointe. She was born October 21, 1940 in Licking County, Ohio to the late Omer Charles and Katherine Ruth (Thompson) Kennedy.
Connie was a 1958 graduate of Utica High School. Along with her husband, Connie was co-owner of the Mill Wheel Tavern in Newark for 36 years. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Newark. Connie enjoyed cooking, fishing, socializing, and writing in her diary.
She is survived by step-son, Ronald E. “Ron” Schlosser, Jr. and his fiancée Jackie Clark, both of Heath; step-daughter, Molly Jo Crouse of Lancaster; step-grandchildren, Tara Carmichael, Randi Lynn Dennison and Austin Crouse; and several step-great-grandchildren; brother, Roger Kennedy of St. Louisville; sister, Ann Fisher of St. Petersburg, Florida; nephew, Bill Butler; niece, Theresa Pericles; cousin, Jim Rodeniser; as well as several other nieces, nephews and cousins; sister-in-law, Pat Wieber of Newark; and dear friend and classmate, Bette Rae Hartfield.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald E. Schlosser, in 2005; a daughter, Nicole Dawn Schlosser; twin sister, Bonnie Lou Kennedy, twin sister and brother, Carl and Charlotte Kennedy, sister, Willadean Kennedy, and brother, Tim Kennedy; a cousin, Sid Rodeiser; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Jackie and Ray Newell, Bonnie Schlosser, and Jerry Wieber.

At her request, no service will be observed. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Wilson Cemetery where Connie will be laid to rest with her beloved husband.
