Connie Corrin Sparrow

A funeral service celebrating the life of Connie Corrin Sparrow, age 62, of Newark, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 1, at New Testament Church, 345 Cedar Run Road in Newark with Rev. Rick L. Sparrow, Connie’s brother, officiating. Burial will follow in Wilson Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 31, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home, 179 Granville Street in Newark.

Connie was born June 19, 1960 in Marion, Indiana. She passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022 at her home.

Connie was a 1979 graduate of Marion High School in Indiana. She was a member of the NTC Apostolic in Newark where she ministered and played the piano. She enjoyed being outdoors in her yard, gardening, swimming in her pool, and decorating. Most important in her life were her church and her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her mother, Audrey Jane (Warner) Neeley; sisters, Marilyn G. Bullard and Audrenea R. (Randy R.) Mitchell, all of Newark; and Rick L. Sparrow of Newark; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ronnie Lynn Sparrow; her step-father, Bishop Dale Neeley; and her sister, Debbie Ooten.
