Connie Lee Stringer

Connie Lee Stringer, age 64, of Hebron, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023. While his death was unexpected, he was still surrounded by family.

Connie was born January 3, 1959 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Russell Lee and Ellen (Bailey) Stringer. Connie was a 1977 graduate of Big Walnut High School. He was an automotive mechanic for forty years and was the owner and operator of C.T.S. Automotive in Hebron. While he was constantly working on or fixing something, Connie also enjoyed relaxing outdoors. He spent almost every weekend of summer camping, boating, and fishing. He also enjoyed hunting, working in his vegetable garden, and taking care of his chickens. Connie’s family meant the world to him and he loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and dogs. He was also a dedicated neighbor, and always willing to help anyone who needed him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Teresa Ann (Bailey) Stringer, whom he had been married to for forty-three years; and by three children, Tara (Jason) Miller of Hebron, Brandon (Tiffany) Stringer of Richwood, and Elizabeth (Matt Toskin) Stringer of Newark; five grandchildren, Jenna, Ashlyn, Abigail, Preston, and David; siblings, Donna (Mark) Marsh of Buchanan, Virginia, Doug (Tena) Stringer of Johnstown, Maria (Aaron) Claytor of Marengo, and Sean (Julie) Stringer of Logan; brothers-in-law, Jeffrey (Josie) Bailey of Carroll and Rick (Ruthie) Bailey of Centerburg; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Connie will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 19, at the Kirkersville Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service with Pastor Brian Harkness officiating. Burial will follow in Kirkersville Cemetery.

Friends and family may call from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18, at the funeral home, 285 East Main Street in Kirkersville.
