Connie S. Tippett

A visitation to celebrate the life of Connie S. Tippett, 74, of Newark, will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2023 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home, 179 Granville Street, Newark. Connie was born in Columbus, Ohio on June 22, 1949 to the late Charles and Mary Darlene (Gallion) Kelley. She passed away in Newark on November 1, 2023. Prior to retirement, Connie was a baker with Jolly Pirate Donuts for many years. She enjoyed playing bingo, bowling, playing cards and was an avid shopper, especially during the Christmas season. She also loved spending time with her loving family and friends. Survivors include her children, Danny (Audrey Baker) Dodrill, Jr., Leslie (Casey) Taylor, Thomas “Tuck” (Carrie Pangborn) Tippett, Chance Tippett, Adam (Elyse Jones)Tippett and Erin Tippett; brothers, Steve (Diana) Kelley and Barry Kelley; grandchildren, Dallas (Tyler) West, Brittney (Shea) Singleton, Brylan (Kirsten) Taylor, Jalyn (Coleman Jackson) Taylor, Kinley Tippett, Trey Tolliver, Jackson Tolliver, Emmalyn Tolliver and Ember Tolliver; great grandchildren, Boston West, Emerie Singleton and Nash Taylor; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Danny Dodrill Sr., Thomas Tippett and Keith Tippett; siblings, Charles Kelley Jr., Richard Kelley, Mary Kelley, Nadine Reed and Perry Kelley. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Hospice of Central Ohio. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
