Connison "Connie" Wilson

A funeral service, celebrating the life of Connison Connie Allen Wilson, 84, of Thornville, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 19, 2016, in the chapel of the Thornville chapel of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, with Pastor Paul Hansen as celebrant. Burial will full military honors will follow at Lutheran Reformed Cemetery.Connie died at his home on February 14, 2016. He was born in Roseville, on March 27, 1931, the son of the late William M. and Miriam (Shrider) Wilson. He served honorably in the US Air Force during the Korean conflict. He retired after many years of service to the Shelly Company in 1986. He enjoyed reading and watching Civil War videos.He is survived by his family: daughter Lynne (Dana) Snider of Thornville, grandsons Benjamin (Amanda) Snider, Jacob Snider, brothers and sisters Rodney (Anne) Wilson, Roberta (Bud) Meredith, Bill (Joyce) Wilson, Nancy (Hershel) Wilks; several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Lucille in 1988,AND A SISTER Margaret Ann Miller.Friends may call at the funeral home, 56. S. Main St. in Thornville on Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m.Memorial contributions in his memory may be directed to the givers charity of choice.
