A celebration of life service, for Cortney Anne Louise Kean, 25, of Newark, will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home, with Pastor Gary LaRue officiating. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark, three hours prior to the funeral service on Wednesday, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.Cortney went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 6, 2015 at Mount Carmel Medical Center while surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born in Newark on May 17, 1990 to Gregory M. and Tammy L. (Hall) Kean of Newark.Cortney was a member of Family of Faith Community Church, where she went on a church mission to Peru. Cortney loved children and was a child care provider for many years. She enjoyed scrapbooking, singing, listening to country and Christian music, taking selfies, was a Facebook fanatic, but most important in her life was God and her devoted family and friends.In addition to her parents, she is survived by one sister, Crystal Kaye Yvonne Kean; brother, Chase Michael Gregory Kean; aunts and uncles, Tawnya Massey, Tracey (Jamie) Bishop, Wayne (Amanda) Kean, Tiffany (Scott) Cook and Kelli Mealor; maternal grandmother, Donna L. (Ronald E.) Shepherd; paternal grandmother, Sandra K. Mundy; numerous cousins; and a host of friends.Cortney is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Stephen W. Hall; maternal great grandparents, Arlene L. and Herbert E.
