Cynthia Jeanne Canale

Cynthia Jeanne "Cindi" Canale, age 67, of Newark, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023 at her residence with her loving family by her side. Cynthia was born December 8, 1955 in Columbus, Ohio.

Cindi drove for the Yellow Cab Co. for twelve years. She loved doing crafts and spending time with her family.

She is survived by three children, Heather Flanagan of Newark, Holly Flanagan of Baltimore, and Dustin Marshall of Newark; grandchildren, Kayla, Amber, and Charles; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Mike Smith of Arkansas and Dave Trout of Louisiana; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Junior Smith; mother, Gloria Jeanne (Northey) Burr; and brother, Bob Smith.

A celebration of Cindi’s life will take place at a later date.
