Cynthia D. Roberts

Heath, Ohio - Cynthia D. Roberts, 76, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 22nd, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Barnesville, Ohio on July 6th, 1948, Cynthia was the cherished daughter of Lealand and Ruth Deal.

Cynthia was a dedicated homemaker who found immense joy in nurturing her family and home. Her creative spirit shone brightly through her many passions, including diamond dot painting, writing and playing music, as well as looming and crocheting. Cynthia had a unique gift for crafting items of beauty and warmth, which she often shared with those she loved. She was happiest when spending time with her family, who were at the heart of everything she did.

Cynthia is survived by her loving husband, Frank J. Roberts; beloved son, Michael Keyes; her devoted sister, Deryl Mohr; and her cherished stepchildren, Marc, Trish, Danny, Melissa, and Angel. She was a proud grandmother to her granddaughter, Elizabeth and step-grandson, Kain, and a loving aunt to her nieces, Kim and Christa, and her nephew, Jonathan. Cynthia also leaves behind many other dear nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who were touched by her kindness and generosity.

Preceding Cynthia in death were her parents, Lealand and Ruth Deal, and her brother, Leland Deal. Their memories continued to live on in her heart and stories.

Cynthia's life will be honored with arrangements provided by Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service, Newark, Ohio. Her warmth, creativity, and tireless devotion to her family will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who were fortunate to know her.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Cynthia's memory. Her legacy of love and creativity will continue to inspire those who knew her.
