Dana Alexander Daniel Giffen-Clark

A memorial service, celebrating the life of Dana Alexander Daniel Giffen-Clark, age 30, of Newark, will be held at a later date at Community Wesleyan Church with Pastor Chris Dyer officiating.Dana was born in Columbus, Ohio on June 4, 1985 to the late Penny L. Giffen and Michael D. Clark of Newark. He passed away at OSU Medical Center on April 12, 2016.Dana was employed with the Licking County Aging Program. He was a member of Community Wesleyan Church. He enjoyed watching movies, listening to music and was an avid New England Patriots and Ohio State Buckeye fan. Most important in his life, was spending time with his family and friends, especially with his two children.Survivors include his father, Michael D. (Frances) Clark; wife, Melinda (Keeran) Giffen; children, Landen Giffen and Serenity Prince; siblings, Lanette (Walter Crouse) Giffen, Jonathon (Janet McIntyre) Giffen and Jessica Giffen-Clark; long-time friends, Howie and Nicole Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Rachel Giffen; paternal grandparents, Harold and Shirley Clark; sister-in-law, Misty Giffen; close friend, Randy Rose; and numerous aunts and uncles.Memorial contribution may be made in memory of Community Wesleyan Church, 161 Myrtle Ave., Newark, Ohio 43055.Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for Dana and his family.
