Darbara Jean Hite

Funeral services celebrating the life of Darbara J. Hite, 77, of Fernandina Beach, Florida, formerly of Pataskala, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2022, in the chapel of the Kirkersville Home of HOSKINSON Funeral and Cremation Service, with Pastor John Krumm as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Kirkersville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until time of the funeral at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home, 285 East Main St. in Kirkersville.

Darbara passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 8, 2022, in Jacksonville, Florida following an extended illness. She was born July 23, 1945, in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of the late Russell Earl and Maxine M. (Pentecost) Hite. She was a graduate of Licking Heights High School, class of 1963. She attended Hebron Primitive Baptist Church.

She is survived by her three sons: Randell (Lyn) Minor, Kendell (Lori) Wilkinson and Keven (Patches) Wilkinson; her six grandchildren Caitlyn Minor, Brandyn (CJ) Godinez, Courtney and Katie Wilkinson, Blake (Macky) Wilkinson and Weston Wilkinson; her brother Gailen (Renee) Hite; her nephews Jacob (Yui) Hite and Marshall (Erin) Hite and their children Abraham, Russell, and Eloise.

The family prefers that memorial contributions be directed to the Licking Primitive Baptist Church, c/o Chris Baker, 4685 Northridge Rd, Alexandria, Ohio 43001. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
