Darlene Marie Hinson

Darlene Marie Hinson, age 79, of Pataskala, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Marion General Hospital. Darlene was born April 22, 1937 in Columbus, Ohio to Chester and Doris E. (Holcombe) Metzler. Darlene had been a nurses aide at Monterey Yorkshire Nursing Inn in Reynoldsburg for many years. She enjoyed being outdoors, rock collecting and caring for her flowers. She especially loved her children and enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by four children, Kathy (Bruce) Gray of Utica, Mike Hinson of Pataskala, Matt (Lisa) Hinson of Kirkersville and Tom (Jami) Hinson of Marion; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Kevin (Brenda) Metzler of Lexington, Kentucky; a sister Malinda Brannon of Pataskala; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service celebrating Darlene's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 24, at Tuscany Gardens, 7400 Hazelton-Etna Road, Pataskala.
