Darrell Hubert Lyon

Darrell Hubert “Bud” Lyon, age 83, of Frazeysburg, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Altercare Newark North. He was born January 22, 1939 in Ayersville, Kentucky.

Darrell was a 1956 graduate of Gahanna Lincoln High School and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was the owner/operator of D. Lyon Construction and retired in 2001 after 18 years in business. Darrell enjoyed golfing and woodworking.

He is survived by two children, Allison Ward of Youngstown and Jeff (Debbie) Lyon of Pataskala; grandchildren, Jerrod Lyon and Samantha Lyon; brothers, Frank (Lou) Lyon of Bellville and Don Schobelock; and many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edyell Lyon; mother and step-father, Maggie (Skaggs) & John Schobelock; and a sister, Carol Lyon.

A private inurnment will be observed at Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
