A funeral service celebrating the life of David A. Taylor, age 66, of Newark, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, at the Kirkersville home of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service with Pastor Doug Lynn officiating. Burial will take place in Franklin Hills Cemetery in Canal Winchester where military honors will be observed. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, April 6, at the funeral home, 285 East Main Street in Kirkersville. David was born August 25, 1951 in Broadwell, Ohio to the late Arthur Ray Taylor and Irene (Conant) Robinson. He passed away on April 2, 2018. David was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and faithfully served his country during the Vietnam War. He retired from Glazers Wine Distribution. David enjoyed scrapping and watching movies. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and going out to eat with them at Chinese buffets. He is survived by four children, Jonathon D. Taylor of Columbus, Jennifer I. (Joe) Sager of Newark, Brien D. (Fredreana) Adkins of Columbus and Belinda Shaw of Gahanna; an abundance of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Kathy (Rick) Marcum of Columbus, Teri (Jim) Sorenson of Circleville and Pat (Al) Whitmire of California; a brother, Ray Robinson of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the love of his life, Rosanna (Frost) Taylor on November 16, 2012.Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
