David Edward Bowman

David Edward Bowman, age 60, of Newark, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Licking Memorial Hospital. David was born August 29, 1957 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Donald E., Sr. and Betty M. (Baldwin) Bowman. Dave was a 1975 graduate of Zanesville High School. He was most recently employed with Sunfield and had also been employed by Owens Corning, Columbia Cement and Brockway Glass. Dave was a big fan of NASCAR and also enjoyed fishing and camping. He is survived by his loving partner, Sarie Allen of Newark; three children, Patrick Bowman of Dresden, Misty (Mike) Burke and Maegen Bowman (Andy Clough), all of Zanesville; grandson, Jake Bowman; brothers, William R. (Carol) Baldwin of Zanesville and Donald E., Jr. (Kimberly) Bowman of Nashport; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife, Barbara (Young) Bowman. The family will have a memorial gathering at a later date.
