David Lee Giles

A funeral service for David Lee Giles, age 36, of Heath, will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18, at the Kirkersville Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral & Cremation Service. Burial will follow in Kirkersville Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, June 17, at the funeral home, 285 East Main Street in Kirkersville.

David was born September 13, 1987 in Columbus, Ohio. He passed away unexpectedly on June 8, 2024 at Grant Medical Center from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Dave was employed by Samuel, Son & Co. He also detailed cars for many years. An avid gamer, Dave loved playing Call of Duty. He also enjoyed riding his Harley and listening to any type of music. A very family-oriented person, Dave loved spending time with his nephews.

Dave was known to be a generous and giving person and even in death his giving continues as he gave the gift of life to others through organ, eye, and tissue donation. In particular, his kidneys were given to two people and Dave is a hero for restoring life’s promise for these families.

He is survived by his loving wife, Tiffany Nicole (Anglin) Giles, whom he married September 10, 2016; his fur babies, Kratos and Peanut Butter (his dogs) and Midnight (his cat); his father and step-mother, Richard David Giles II and Deena Parsley of Grove City; brother, Stephen Giles (fiancée Emily Garten) of Reynoldsburg, and nephews, Bentley, Tristan, and Mason; mother-in-law, Evelyn Hicks of Heath; father-in-law, Otis “JR” (Ronda) Anglin of Pataskala; sister-in-law, Faith Hicks of Heath and nephew, Benjamin; brother-in-law, Dalton Anglin of Pataskala; grandfather, Rod Ison of Florida; aunts, Dana Bull of Columbus and Dona Schall-Scott of Columbus; and uncles, David Chinn (Sandra Orozco) and Gene Leonard, both of Pataskala.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Gloria Iona (Bell) Giles.
