David Allen Himes

David Allen Himes was born on March 11,1971 in Columbus Ohio to the late Doyle Isaac Himes and Susie Faye Himes. He was reborn to Christ on August 30, 2021 @ 8:23 AM. David was a long time employee of Plastic Supplies Incorporated. He was a master craftsman. He was so talented there wasn’t anything he couldn’t build or fix. He would always stamp it “HIME BUILT” and you knew it was of great quality. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved to cook, work with horses and being outdoors. But his greatest joy was time spent with his granddaughter, Pattie training her to be “Pap Paw’s apprentice”. When he had a little free time he enjoyed watching “Tik Tok”. David is survived by his wife, Lisa Maharg-Himes; brothers, Dennis (Wendy) Himes, Bubby Himes; sisters, Vicky Scott and Karen( John) White; granddaughter, Pattie Maharg. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. Special “Brother From Another Mother”, include Nichos Napier, Kyle Thomson, Denny Chanthachack, and Enos Weaver along with all of his Brothers at P.S.I. especially Tom Jones AKA “TellaTom”. The family will be hosting a memorial on Saturday September 25th from 5pm-10pm at Sister Karen’s house. Please bring a helium balloon for a group balloon release. In lieu of flowers please do as David did. If you see a homeless person in need, donate a few bucks to them. David always had a big heart and he shared it. Whenever David exited a room, you knew how he was feeling because he always left you with a song.
