David Kochensparger

David (Dave) Kochensparger, age 75, of Thornville, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2012. He was born in Circleville on July 3, 1936, to the late William and Mary (Ankrom) Kochensparger. Dave lived most of his adult life on the south side of Columbus where he met the love of his life, Patricia Sexton. They had a large family of 3 daughters and 3 sons: David E. (Brenda) Kochensparger, Annette (Jon) Dunham, Richard Kochensparger, Karla (Jay) Zollinger, Timothy Kochensparger, Carrie (Kenny Moss) Kochensparger, his grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Vincent, Nilla, Jessie, Crystal (Kurt), Kristen (Austin), Dustin (Chelsey), Josh, Sara and Tyler, and 4 great grandchildren, brothers R. Bud (Terry), James (Kay), and Roberts widow Alma, and many friends, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Mary, his wife of 44 years, Patricia (Sexton), his brothers and sisters William, Norma Jean, Charles, Robert and Marilyn. He was a member of Sheet Metal Local 98 and was known by his fellow workers as being a good and conscientious tradesman. His family will receive friends on Monday, May 28, 2012 from 5-8 pm at Hoskinson Schoedinger Funeral Home, 56 South Main Street, Thornville. A funeral service, celebrating the life of David E. Kochensparger, will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 11:00 am with Pastor Jeff Morlock as celebrant. Burial will follow at Lutheran Reformed Cemetery, Thornville.
