David L. Johnson

A funeral service, celebrating the life of David L. Johnson, 73, of Newark, will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Pastor William Wayt officiating. Burial will follow at Barnes Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday one hour prior to the funeral service. From 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.David was born in Newark, Ohio on July 9, 1941 to the late Cecil F. Johnson and Mildred (Lane) Johnson of Newark. He passed on April 16, 2015 at Licking Memorial Hospital.David was an assembler with LICCO for many years. He enjoyed listening to music and sight-seeing. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.In addition to his mother, survivors include his brother, Gordon (Holly) Johnson; niece, Heather (Gary) Rule; nephews, Eric Johnson and Brett (Shannon) Johnson; and four great nieces and nephews and a host of friends.Memorial contributions may be made in memory of David to the Licking County Board of Developmental Disabilities, 116 N. 22nd.
