David Lee Hardy

A funeral service, celebrating the life of David Lee Hardy, age 68, of New Salem, Ohio, will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the Thornville home of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service with Douglas Hockman officiating. Burial will follow in New Salem Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home, 56 S. Main Street, Thornville, two hours prior to the funeral service on Tuesday, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. David was born in Circleville, Ohio on January 27, 1949 to the late Delbert W. Hardy and Elizabeth (Graves) Mohler. He passed away at Fairfield Medical Center on September 1, 2017. He is survived by a son, Christopher; brother, Delbert (Marty) Hardy, Jr.; sister, Kay Lee; sister-in-law, Dixie Hardy; grandchildren, Zach (Ashley) Kinser, Zara, Christina, Colin, and Caden Hardy; great grandchildren, Emily and Carli; step children, Dwayne Ellis, Lisa Ferguson and Stacey Ellis; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, along with many friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother, Jeffery Hardy; daughter-in-law, Mandy Hardy and infant son, Johnny Hardy.Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service is honored to care for David and the Hardy family.
