David M. Snider

A funeral service for David M. Snider, age 35, of Thornville, will be held on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Oakthorpe Church, 6090 Oakthorpe Rd, NE, Thornville. Interment will be at Oakthorpe Cemetery in Thornville. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Thornville Chapel of Hoskinson Funeral and Cremation Service, 56 S. Main Street, Thornville. David was born in Zanesville, Ohio on July 29, 1981 to Wayne E. and Rhonda (Pryor) Snider. He passed away on March 7, 2017. David was a devoted husband, father, and loved being a wrestling dad and coach. He was a special part of the family that kept the family farm, his grandpa started, going with his father and brother, passing on to his kids the love and knowledge of farming. David could fix anything, was willing to do any chore asked, helped out anyone in need and was not afraid of hard work. David was a maintenance mechanic, working for TreeHouse Foods, formerly known as Ralston Foods. He was also a machinist and an active farmer. David was a member of the U.E. Union, and enjoyed farming, tractor pulling, and was an avid Bengals fan. David not only loved his own children, but he cared about all children. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. In addition to his parents, survivors include his loving wife, Tiffany M. (Harris) Snider, whom he married December 12, 2012; two loving sons, Aaron W. and Owen D. Snider; sister, Carly (Derick Hanlon) Snider; brother, Dale (Casey Price) Snider; maternal grandparents, Myron and Glendola Prior; mother-in-law, Julie McGinnis; father-in-law, Ray Harris; sister-in-law, Amanda Harris; brother-in-law, Joe (Tori) Linn; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. David was preceded in death by Tiffanys and Davids unborn child; and paternal grandparents, Carlos and Wanda Snider. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of David, to help with his two sons educations, to the Aaron and Owen Snider Scholarship Fund.
